Greg Cummings- Director

Greg Cummings- Director
An award-winning wildlife conservationists, Greg achieved remarkable success protecting gorilla populations in the wild, through community-based initiatives in East and Central Africa. In a career spanning two decades, he personally raised over $10 million for this work, and formed enduring relationships with the Gates Foundation, World Bank, European Union, UNESCO, and US Fish & Wildlife - to name just a few. What really motivates him is a vision of a strong, indigenous movement for development in Africa – owned and managed by Africans for the good of future generations. Since 2009 he has been a director of WildLIGHT, a registered charity in Uganda.

Sandra Richardson - Director

Sandra Richardson - Director
Born and raised in Uganda, and educated in Uganda, Kenya, and the United Kingdom, Sandra specialises in communication. At 15 she started a silk worm production farm with 100 silk worms and 25 mulberry bushes, in one of her villages in Mubende. In 2007 she launched a project to plant 60,000 candlenut trees, with the intention of harvesting tan oil, a major raw material in the manufacturing sector. During the last three years she has immersed herself in learning everything there is to know about organic tanning. Since 2009 she has been a director of WildLIGHT, a registered charity in Uganda.
